GOD'S PROVIDENTIAL PREPARATION AND PRINCIPLES FOR RESTORATION: Ove five hundred years of recorded church history of restoration movement has proof of the consistent methods that God the Father directs the Holy Spirit to use in restoring Christ's Church to the place of purity and maturity for presentation as a proper Bride to Jesus Christ the Bridegroom. *

When God gets ready to do something new, He makes preparation in certain areas. He prepares a people, a product, and a place to perpetuate His plan. The Lord Jesus then raises up a man with a message and a ministry wich produces a movement that furtheq fulfills His will by various methods and means. This is evidenced in the restoration of earth and the creation of humankind, bringing forth the nations of Israel and the coming of the Messiah to establish the Church. Please take note of the key words people, places, products and man, message, methods. *

THE CREATION OF PLANET EARTH. In eternity past when God was ready to activate into reality His ''eternal purpose wich He purposed in Christ Jesus'' (Eph 3:11), He made ready a place, planet earth. He then created Adam and Eve to bring forth His people. The product that was to be used to preserve, propagate and maintain His plan was all of earth's creatures, elements and atmosphere (Gen 1:1-28). *

MAN--MESSAGE--METHODS. In God's movement to restore the world back to a right state by removing the wickedness of humanity by a flood, Noah was the man. Repentance was his message. The ark was the provision for their preservation. Water was the method by wich the wicked were taken away. The place of the ark's preservation was on top of the water until planet earth was ready for the migration of humankind again (Gen 6:13,18; Gen 7:4; Gen 8:4). *

RESTORATION OF ABRAHAM'S SEED BACK TO CANAAN. When God was ready to deliver Abraham's descendants, who had moved down into Egypt when Joseph brought Jacob and other sons of lsrael into that country, He made the same preparation and followed the same principle. Moses was His man, Deliverance was his message--''Let My people go, Pharaoh!'' *

The children of lsraer were the people. God's product to make the message work was miracles in nature against the opposition. The place to come out of was Egypt, but the place of their destiny was Canaan, not just freedom and miraculous provision in the wilderness. That was all a means to an end: ''He brought us out that He might bring us in to give us the land He sware unto our fathers'' (Deut 6:23; Ex 5:1; Ex 6:3-4). *

The Restoration of Humanity to God and the Establishment of the Church. The man Christ Jesus was the person God provided to bring the redemption and restoration of humankind. Jesus came and died on the cross, giving His life's blood to save humanity from its sins. But bringing humanity out of sin was not an end in itself. It was a means to an end. *

Jesus brings people out of Satan's sin-bondage to make them members of His Church. Christ's redemptive purpose was to produce a people who would be the people of God called the Church. If you do not understand that God's eternal purposes revolve around Jesus Christ and His Church, then you will never grasp the need and purpose for Church restoration. *

Jesus Will Work Through His Church. Everything Jesus will ever do from the day of Pentecost to the endless eternities will be done with His Church. He is the Head and the Church is the body of a single unity. This corporate Body is God's chosen instrument for executing all of His eternal purposes. Jesus loved the Church and gave Himself for her. Jesus purchased the Church with His own blood. The death of Jesus on the cross paid the redemptive price for every person who would become a member of the Church. The resurrection of Jesus authorized the bringing forth of the Church, and the coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost gave birth to the Church. (Acts 20:28; Eph 2:13-16; Col 1:18-29; 1Pet 1:18-19). *

Jesus provided all things for the birth, growth and maturity of His Church (John 17:4; John 19:30). He planned, purchased, produced and empowered it. He made methods, means and provisions for its perfection and presentation to Himself as a glorious Bride without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, perfect in purity and maturity. *

The product that paid the price for sinful human being to become saintly members of Christ's Church was the precious blood of Jesus. The message that Jesus preached was ''you must be born again....for l AM the only way, truth and life....repent....the kingdom of God is at hand'' (John 3:3; 14:6; MK 1:15). The Church is the spiritual kingdom of God, the place where King Jesus has His domain. The Church is God's dwelling place and head-quarters on earth: Christ's corporate Body for the physical expression and extension of Himself to humankind. The product that made the message of Jesus as the Messiah believable was the miracles, signs and wonders He perfomed. *

THE CHURCH IS CENTRAL TO GOD'S PURPOSE. Through Christ's death, burial, resurrection, ascension and sending of the Holy Spirit, the Church was brought forth and established as a central part of God's eternal purposes. The Church Age is a dispensation and continuing covenant wich God made with the mortal Church. From the typology of thf dimensions of the Holy Place in the Tabernacle we find that the Church Age is destined to last about two thousand years. (2000) *

talkmore 24.11.08 - 08:22pm
Everything that was established in the Church is to remain functional until the mortal Church is immortalized into the eternal Church. Then members of the eternal Church will become co-laborers with God to administer His affairs and execute His eternal purposes as they sit together with Christ Jesus on His Father's throne (Rev 2:26-27; Rev 3:21; 1Cor 3:9). *
